 When I was younger I would be walking with my friends through Brooklyn’s famous “Graham Avenue” and I would see my grandmother sitting alone in Dunkin Donuts and my heart would melt from sadness. She’d be eating her lil croissant and drinking her coffee and just looking out the window at the sky. When I would go in to say hello and see if she was okay she would give me money and tell me to go have fun. Later on she told me that was the time she set out for herself to just relax and think. So don’t always feel sad…they just might be taking special time for themselves. I miss my gramma <3
